SMM News: on December 31, 2019, Guangxi Huiyuan Manganese Industry Co., Ltd. newly built unit electrification operation, marking the Huiyuan manganese industry production improvement project put into production, Huiyuan manganese industry company electrolytic manganese dioxide production capacity leapt to the second in the industry, Citic manganese electrolytic manganese dioxide production capacity leapt to the top of the industry. Liu Chunming, deputy general manager of Citic manganese, attended the production ceremony.
At 10:00 in the workshop electric control room, with Liu Chunming deputy general manager, Huiyuan manganese chairman Pan Junhong, general manager Wan Weihua jointly pressed the button, the new unit was successfully started and put into production. The company's production management department, project construction management department, office and Huiyuan manganese company staff representatives attended the ceremony.
Huiyuan manganese industry production technology transformation project, based on self-rolling development, after many efforts, each new unit has been put into operation in 2019 and reached the expected technical targets, production capacity doubled year-on-year, the concept of creating value for customers has been affirmed and favored by the majority of customers.
In 2020, Huiyuan manganese industry will start a new journey, focusing on strengthening and expanding electrolytic manganese dioxide, extending the industrial chain, and unswervingly taking the road of high-quality development.
According to SMM, Guangxi Huiyuan manganese industry has formed an annual production capacity of 50, 000 tons of electrolytic manganese dioxide, the number of domestic major production enterprises is 9, mainly distributed in Guangxi, Hunan and Guizhou. According to SMM statistics, the annual output of the country is expected to be about 25-270000 tons. In addition, the total domestic production capacity can account for more than 90%. At present, the export market of electrolytic manganese dioxide accounts for 1/4 of the consumption.
Downstream use, according to SMM research, electrolytic manganese dioxide is traditionally used in primary batteries, in addition, with the development of secondary batteries in the market, the number of manganese dioxide used in lithium manganate is increasing year by year, so it is expected that the demand for SMM from lithium manganate will continue to rise in the future.
